Sigh...

2/15/12 by varrin7

Well, it looks like I'll have to drop out of the MAC12 for this month. Logic won't let me work on my piece long enough to get any work done on it without it crashing. So I'm going to have to bow out of this one, and hopefully by the next contest I'll have all these problems sorted out by then.

alright, beaten by you.
however if something really goes wrong with a MAC OS / system,
its even more difficult to solve it, probably only a few stores/nerds
and other normal people know how to fix it.

and Windows related machines are the oppisite,
if something goes wrong with it i can easily fix it with my bare hands.
i wouldnt dare touching a MAC if something's really messed up.

Well no argument there. PCs are for the most part made to be "tinkered" with. Because Apple is a "walled garden" system, the idea is that the less you have to tinker with, the less likely a person is to screw up their products (one of the reasons they have less issues w/ viruses and with their software in general). Of course, for people with experience with computers this can be a limit, but for people who don't have that interest, and just want to use their computer, Macs work fine. It's just a matter of preference.

MAC has lots of problems..
thats why i cant understand why people buy one.
do you?

I'd have to disagree. I've used both Macs and PCs, and from my experience I've more problems consistently with my PCs. This is actually the first problem I've had with my mac, and it's not even the whole OS, just the Logic software.
